The Palomino Lounge is a local bar lounge that has been a fixture of the community for several decades. Over the years, the facility has been modified, repaired and adjusted to fit the décor of its time and had been last renovated in the 1970’s.

The E&L Market is a local corner convenience store that has been serving the immediate north side neighborhood for many years. The St. Louis Development Corporation and the local Alderman developed plans to renovate the exterior of the structure in a style that would mimic its original historic character.

The Kappa Alpha Psi House is the home of the local chapter of a national fraternity. The building had unfortunately been struck by a vehicle during an ice storm that damaged the exterior stucco wall of the front façade.
