Carswold House
Location: Clayton, MO
The Carswold House is a renovation of a retaining wall at a residence in an upscale neighborhood south of downtown Clayton, MO. The house was plagued with a an existing, grossly deteriorated railroad tie retaining wall and a concrete sidewalk/stair that was also in a desperate state of disrepair. We removed the existing retaining wall and carefully installed a new artificial stone block wall that blended with the character of the existing neighborhood site designs. The new sidewalk tied the project back into the existing house.
